BIBLE VERSES ABOUT HEARING FROM GOD

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him…You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows… The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.”

1 John 5:14-15; Job 22:27; Proverbs 15:29

BIBLE VERSES ABOUT HEARING FROM GOD

God is listening to you.

Are you listening to Him?

God hears everything you pray.

Are you listening to all His answers?

ARE YOU HEARING FROM GOD?

God is sad that so many of His children spend most of their communication talking and so very little listening.

And then they are frustrated that no one listens to them. In many ways, there is much talking and no listening and with that comes confusion and misunderstanding and great conflict.

God is not human.

He is listening to you.

Never and I mean never does He ignore you.

He begins answering before you even finish.

Yes, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24

Know with complete confidence void of any doubt, the Father listens to you. You have His complete attention.

YOUR TURN…

Repeat and celebrate …

“LORD, You hear my voice… the LORD is near to call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” Psalm 5:3, 145:18 Know and believe these truths, my child.

COME AND PRAY …

“The Lord hears when I call to Him … Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy.

When I am in distress, I call to You, because You answer me… Hear my prayer, LORD; let my cry for help come to You.

Do not hide Your face from me when I am in distress. Turn Your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.”

Psalm 4:3, 86:6-7; 102:1-2

“Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart…The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Jeremiah 29:12-13; James 5:16

HOW TO DO THIS AS A WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

Day One: Experience Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”

Day Two: Observe & Read Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).

Day Three: Interpret Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”

Day Four: Application Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.

Day Five: Testify Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
